Initially hired on a part-time basis as a Producer / Board Operator for various programs, was subsequently offered permanent employment (03/01) as Board Operator for the Mike and the Mad Dog Sports Show. Thereafter, I was promoted to Producer for that program and also served as an on-air personality doing sports updates. In January 2007, I was offered my own overnight sports show.
On-air Personality - "TALKIN SPORTS WITH MARC MALUSIS" show (01/07-Present)
Host an over-night call-in sports show three nights (12AM-6AM) per week.
Conduct on-air interviews with notable athletes, sports writers, coaches, etc.
Develop program topics and formats.
Cover playoff teams; conduct preview wraps for playoff games.
Producer - MIKE AND THE MAD DOG SPORTS SHOW (02/04-01/07)
Reviewed all daily sports stories to select topics for each radio show which is simulcasted on the YES television network; coordinated all production between the radio and television stations.
Contacted and booked guests for the program and handled all logistics for their accommodation.
Obtained any late-breaking sports news for the hosts during the show.
